"Only use processors...LGA1151 v2 socket...". Coffeelake on modded z270 is acceptable?

November 3, 2021 at 7:00:53 PM UTC

Nope, 1151v2 is Z370

November 6, 2021 at 6:00:28 PM UTC

The XI Apex Z390 is a LGA 1151 V2
it is possible to have the IX extreme Z270 LGA 1151 with a
I3 7350K?

because there is already a Z390

thank you

Read the post above yours, Z170 & Z270 are 1151V1, from Z370 you have 1151V2.... you will have to use the other proposed sockets to complete the stage

November 14, 2021 at 7:18:45 AM UTC

Which stage?

November 17, 2021 at 3:10:54 PM UTC

Intel CPU - Y-Cruncher 2.5b = Skylake X cpu's??

November 17, 2021 at 3:43:24 PM UTC

not specifically: 2 - 4 - 6 and 12 core CPUs so I think there's plenty of choice to get there with allowing a single Xeon CPU

November 17, 2021 at 10:59:39 PM UTC

You did not list the 8-10-14-16-18 Cores as being allowed? So no i7-7820x, i9-7900x/40x/60x/80xe x299's or Single Xeon's over 18 Cores?

You need one score each with core counts 2-4-6-12 and Intel cpu

What happened to 6core in XTU? Why are the rules changed AFTER the start?

6 core was in ycruncher, xtu has always been the core counts it is.

Thank you for clarifying, I must have got them mixed up.

Intel - Ref Freq LIMITATIONS Only use processors using socket LGA2066, LGA1200 socket, LGA1151 v2 socket, LGA1150 socket. A CPUZ 1.98 validation link is required, registered on your HWBot name. 4 submissions required on different sockets Use the official competition background, with CPUZ 1.98 CPU, Motherboard

so rig pic isn't mandatory...

Wondering why it isn't added on Country Cup 2021 - INTEL CPU - y-cruncher - Pi-2.5b via BenchMate https://hwbot.org/submission/4890297_

December 29, 2021 at 7:41:13 PM UTC

Your team is missing a 2 core score, 4, 6 and 12 are taken

Rip, could always just put it together for a quick photo with same config if it's for a score you've already gotten
